Please join us for an interactive discussion with SP's partners at The Water Council to learn about a new NSF Innovation program they are leading and provide feedback on key water and energy needs within the automotive supply chain that may help inform their work.

The Water Council is leading a collaborative effort to develop a National Science Foundation (NSF) Regional Innovation Engine that addresses water and energy resiliency and sustainability for manufacturers and utilities, particularly small- to medium-sized enterprises (SME). We know many of these SMEs, including Supplier Partnership (SP) members, face increasing pressure up and down the supply chain to improve their environmental performance to meet customer expectations and reduce material risks. Our Engine aims to develop solutions for these companies at the water-energy-waste nexus, facilitating a more sustainable ecosystem that is necessary for our economy and society.

The Leadership Team for our Engine would be very interested in holding a virtual customer discovery session with Suppliers Partnership and its members to discuss their water and energy pain points, focusing on those SMEs with intense water and energy needs, such as component and material suppliers. In particular, we would like to learn how SP members currently research technology options; identify, evaluate and deploy new technology solutions; as well as understand their supply chain issues, regulatory pressures, workforce or public pressures (stakeholders/shareholders, customers, or employees).
