Please join us for the next meeting of the SP transportation & logistics decarbonization work group to continue discussion around common definitions, tools, and guidance to seek to improve consistency within the industry in collecting and reporting carbon emissions associated with road and rail transportation and logistics.

This next meeting will include a member case study on collecting and evaluating automotive logistics GHG data, followed by group discussion on information shared to date and next steps.

Work Group Mission: To provide a forum to facilitate dialogue across the automotive value chain to identify and develop common approaches, tools, and resources to measure, report and accelerate decarbonization efforts associated with transportation and logistics.

Proposed Objectives:

1. Identify or develop common definitions, tools, and/or guidance to seek to improve consistency within the industry in collecting and reporting carbon emissions associated with road and rail transportation and logistics.

2. Promote development, evaluation and/or sharing of industry best practices, tools, and innovations to support companies in optimizing the carbon footprint of road and rail transportation and logistics activities.
